Hi guys, does one of you lovely people know how to get the Spe.. i mean, Safety cameras database of POIs working within ViaMichelin MapSonic 3.5 ? It now has a POI Manager software program but that only accepts *.asc and *.poi files.
Please let me know if there is any way of converting a OV2 file or .CSV to an .ASC or .POI
(Also, if there is any POI-Warner type software available for mapsonic)
Thankyou guys.

I can answer one of my own questions....
You can use PoiEdit to BatchConvert POI files. |

And I can answer my other questions....
I have found that ViaMichelin came out with "Navigation" to replace "MapSonic", so now the software looks a lot nicer on the PDA. It also has a "POI Alerter" option in the program to play an audible sound file of your choice when you are approaching within a set distance of a specified POI type. Wicked.
Id love to see a review on ViaMichelin Navigation |

You can convert a .csv file to a .asc file by simply changing the file extension.
There are several programs that will convert .ov2 files to text files. I use Dumpov2.exe from http://www.tomtom.com/support/ce/support/nav_poi.php _________________ Richard
