Thanks

I was looking for the same thing last year and this is the response i got from TOMTOM when i asked them about it
"The Northern Ireland map coverage from our DIGITAL map provider Tele Atlas is only 28 percent and we do not know if there will be more coverage of this area in 2005.
We hope to have answered your question to your satisfaction.
With best regards,
The TomTom Customer Support Team"
That was for northern ireland, when i askedabout southern, they told me they dont do any at all for southern ireland. |

TomTom maintain that they do not have a map for ROI, but...
When I was in Ireland last week, my TTN5 not only showed map details in Dublin, but also allowed me to set a route to Dun Laoghaire ferry terminal.
The downsides are that there appear to be no POIs, only street names, and only major roads are shown.
This would appear to be a TeleAtlas problem rather than a TomTom one.
I know that NavTech maps have much better coverage of ROI. |
