My TTN5 upgrade arrived the other day - I've got a trip to make over the weekend, and I'll be installing it when I get home. My question is this - should I just go right ahead and install the TTN5 upgrade over the top of the installation of TTN3 which already exists on my PPC? Or would it be better to uninstall v3 first? In fact, with this being an upgrade, does v5 actually detect the presence of v3, and refuse to install if it doesn't find it? |

The installs are never upgrades - they are always full installs.
TTN5 is a totally different engine, and it doesn't matter if you uninstall TTN3 first or not. If it makes you feel better go ahead and uninstall -gives a cleaner device. _________________ Lutz

If that is the case, why is the non upgrade version now delayed to 20th July? _________________ Steve I |

Don't know. Maybe they will have different map cuts. Or they wanted to honour existing customers first. :o _________________ Lutz
