I may be going over old ground but I have looked at other posts with no Joy!

I cannot get my new BT-338 to connect with my hp 2210.

The BT manager can see it and I can pair with it but there doesn't seem to be any data exchange. Then, after a few mins the ipaq drops the BT connection.

I can connect via my PC with no problems (very good signal) and I have used SiRFdemo to change it to NMEA still no joy.

What am I doing wrong? Crying or Very sad[/b]

I'm using the BT-338 with an iPaq H2210 with no problems. However, I'm using it with the latest version of CoPilot, which has switched from using the Bluetooth manager to using it's own direct binding. I think that the iPaq H2210 may have Bluetooth problems.

Bluetooth problems is the word

Took some serious reg hacks to get it to work. Turns out , the inbound and outbound ports were the wrong way round.

It's working now (in a way) but TT5 is having a problem with direction and even when the BT 338 is on the desk and not moving. It spins showing all sorts of headings

Problem for another day Laughing

I think that is fairly normal operation.
