No. For whatever reason TomTom have disallowed that. It is possible on the GOs and TTM, though. _________________ Lutz

Just open the ".pna" file of the TT4 map, and change the map version, from (ex. 390) to 562, save and enjoy. You will need to do this from wordpad on your PC and not on your PDA.
I have tried it and know this works.

chazanova - we're talking US maps here (different build). I tried this with the US maps and it didn't work. _________________ Lutz

Also, I forgot to mention that my Maps were previously activated under TOMTOM Navigator 2004 (US Version). They were already on my SD card and I Just changed map version under the ".pna" file and installed TOMTOM Navigator 5 GB version. It found the map and navigated perfect.
Hope this helps.

Make sure you use the original mid files from your 20004 maps (not the ones you use to get the 2004 maps to work on 3.07). Then do the pna change like described above and they will work on 5. |

That did the trick!
I did a fresh install of the map's to my PC HDD then in the PNA file I changed the entry from 390 to 562, then reload them back to the sd card fired it up and it worked!
Now I have the US maps from my TT2004 working on my GB TT5
Thank you for your help guys,
