The bluetooth connection on the Sharp GX15 will only work with a hands-free voice device. It is not possible to use the GX15 as a bluetooth modem with a PDA so unless to can get a data cable for it, you will not be able to use TomTom Traffic.
I got a refund from Vodafone for my GX15 because I specifically asked if it could be used as a modem. There was some contradicting information from Sharp & Vodafone about what bluetooth cababilities the GX15 has so if it is a relatively new phone I would try and get it replaced.
Regards,

Hi, YOU MIGHT BE JUST THE GUY TO HELP ME!!!
I have recently bought the tomtom HP 2110 navigator system.
I have followed the instructions on how to connect to services ( weather, traffic ) but i am having no luck connecting.
I have gprs activated phone and i have paired all bluetooth devices up yet i cant get anything when i am on the move.
i have signed up for 30 day free trial of tt plus and it is activated as i checked by plugging ipaq into my pc whilst connected to the internet.
But when i am mobile, it does not connect to the server. How do i connect? I am a bit of a beginner and your help would be very much appreciated !!
WHAT AM I MISSING !!! i am sure it is something simple.
PLEASE HELP ME !!
THANKS

|
|
Dose anyone happen to know how to set up a connection from TTG 300 to T-mobile(USA) t-mobile web? None of the provided automatic setup works. I tried:
ASN: wap.voicestream.com
ID: x
PW: x
IP: auto
DNS: atuo
login script: +cgdcont=1,"ip","wap.voicestream.com"
it shows a GPRS active icon on my phone... but still no connection can be estanblished to the GPRS network.
Can somebody kindly give me some suggestions?
Thanks a lot!
