|
|
TT5 comes on its own SD Card.
What do I need to do to;
a) Get the date over to an existing card, i.e. do I copy the whole card into a folder on my existing card (1gb) - will this work or does it have to be in the root of the SD Card - what folders can I drop if it has already installed itself
b) How do I force it to install the application in to the IPAQ File Store or SD Card rather than in the main memory?
Also anyone else have it turn their unit off after 5 - 10 minutes and when you turn it back on it does a soft reset?
I tried copy the TT5 card data onto my PC and then back onto the existing SD Card I have but somewhere along the line the card seems to have died and now wont appear on my Ipaq and when I put it in my card reader on the PC the PC hangs - reckon its toast but any suggestions? |

Surely this isn't a hard qustion to answer?
I will try just transfering the entire SD card contents to a new card but wonder that I aint carrying over stuff I dont need.
Also how do I install the application to anything other than the main memory.

I have found that if I use a card reader and copy to PC and then use card reader back to card my PPC does not recognise the info and TTN5 does not operate. The only way is to use ActiveSync to copy back to card in PPC. It seems that the pocket PC needs to 'convert' files to be read. Try copying from card to PC and then put in new card and use activesync to copy back to Pocket PC. It may work that way.
Just a suggestion Not compulsory

I just copied the entire contents to a larger SD card via the reader in my PC. That worked fine. _________________ Kam |

I used MS Backup to save to Hard Drive and then restored to new High Speed SD card. |

Can I stick it within a TT folderon the SD Card and is there anything I can drop to save space?
Still hoping for suggestions on how to avoid installing it to the main memory instead of the Ipaq Files Store also.
