|
|
Hi, first post here after much lurking for ages over the various TT versions, so here goes!
Ive installed TT5 and the UK map onto an Ipaq 3760 PDA with CF GPS and CF memory card. I must note that both version 2 and 3 worked well on this combo, as well as 4.4 (the HP version).
TT5 is installed ok and is working fine in that i can watch where i am going on it with no route planned, ive got the full postal code search working now thanks to this forum. The only problem i have (unfortunately rather a big one) is that whenever i plan a route all i get is "error during planning" a couple of seconds after it starts planning. Obviously this is very annoying and means it has been a big waste of money for me
Anyone any ideas at all as to why it'd do this? I am getting really annoyed with the damn thing now! |

Have a look at how much RAM you have free when TTN5 runs. If possible, free up some memory by moving programs to the storage card (including TTN5) _________________ Lutz

Before the install i hard reset the pda so it has nothing else on it, but i will try moving the app slider along or something to see if i can free any more up
I cant beleive i am the only person with this problem! Typical my luck |

I am also getting accasional planning errors. It comes up with a toll road in the plan (there isnt one). Then stops with error message. |

Indeed we haven't heard many of these particular error messages. Must be very rare, maybe even a corrupt map - did you use ActiveSync to copy the map over? _________________ Lutz

Yeah i did, its very annoying indeed and has meant that for the moment at least i have put 4.4 back on as its basically the same minus the postal code nav for what i use. The postal code nav is a feature i really would like though so i will definately keep an eye on this thread and forum to see if anyone can shed some light. |
