Hello,
I’m a newbie when it comes to GPS things but bear with me.
I have an I-Mate JAM phone (which is essentially a pocket PC).
As soon as tomtom 5 is released I shall be purchasing it - however fairly soon I am going to New Zealand where I’ll be doing allot of driving.
Where can i buy New Zealand maps that are fully compatible with the tomtom system? |

Hi Andrew
TomTom dont have New Zealand maps. The only available routing software with New Zealand maps are Navman and a local product called GoldFinger (http://www.goldfinger.co.nz)
If you are after a cheaper option you can buy maps with all NZ rodas from www.handmap.net these are GPS compatible and may be of some help if you are just touring NZ. They dont support routing though.
Regards

My gps (Mitac 168) has both Tom Tom & Navman installed.
I used the Navman maps of NZ this year & was impressed, saved a lot of map reading & allowed us both to watch the scenery!
No compatability problems.. Just £99 for the NZ map !

Yes, works just like Tom Tom.
The £99 was for the NZ map & Smart ST V3.(navigation prog)
Call Navman UK on 01293 780500.
