Just ordered another antenna from Tom Tom for a friend who hasn't got tinternet. There as been a price increase of 10 euros since my first order a couple of weeks ago!
Surely Tom Tom aren't 'cashing in' on new 300 customers before other suppliers get stocks are they?

TotalGPS have stock as do GPS Warehouse - it might have something to do with the Euro dropping value _________________ J. |

It wouldn't surprise me in the least.
Why couldn't they use the ORIGINAL antenna in the first place, and why alter the 300,500,& 700, so you HAVE to buy a new antenna. _________________ Using an A to Z

If the euro drops in value shouldnt the antenna be cheaper for us who have remained at the mercy of currency fluctuation?
I'll bet you the price wouldn't come down if the pound had dropped.

If TomTom are buying bits/units in dollars then their costs have gone up (about 5% since France said no). Also if demand is out stripping what was expected, they may have to ramp up production at increased costs per unit.

If the pound dropped, then the price would go up (assuming price remained same in Euros) _________________ J. |
