Not sure if this is the best place to post this query, apologies if there is a more appropriate thread.
A couple of months ago, using TomTom 3 on my iPAQ 2210 I turned off the PDA without exiting TomTom. The whole thing locked up, and even after soft reset I couldn't get any display because the backlight had set itself to zero brightness and was greyed out so that I couldn't adjust it.
After a hard reset I still couldn't adjust the backlight settings. Fortunately a Sprite backup restore brought the settings back to my normal preferred values, but I still can't adjust them.
I have now installed TT5 which works fine, but I still have no control over the settings.
Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a fix?

check if the adjust baclight auto is selected this is normally default - deselect it and see if you can then adjust it using manual controls in settings if this clears the fault the sensor is either faulty or obscured from ambiant light - worth a try - mike

I don't think there is an auto backlight setting on the iPAQ 2210.
