The installation (upgrade) guide for TT5 on the palm says:
"unfortunatly you cannot migrate your Favourites, Self-made points of interst (POIs) and personal settings to the new versions".
However, since my 'self made POI files' are simply OV2 files (just like the 3rd party POI files), won't they still work?
If they don't, does that mean that the POI files that I have donwloaded won't work either??

I upgraded to TT5 last night (Palm T3) and added a few POIs from this site - I can confirm that they all seemed to work fine |

I have been playing..
Not only do 3rd part POI files work, but also the ones I created myself.
I simply coped the OV2 file into the 'map' directory and its fine.
The only problem is that the name of the POI catagory is in lower case, but other than that its fine.

It turns out that ALL 3rd POI files appear as 'lower case' and as TT sees my home-made POI files as '3rd party' it shows them the same way!
