|
|
I've got a 3970 upgraded to WM2003 and Nokia 6230, paired using Bluetooth with services on the phone discovered by the iPAQ.
I can use the WAP browser in the phone with the always-on GPRS service of O2.
I can't figure out how to use GPRS from the Internet Browser on the iPAQ. The PDA dials-out using the phone, but it calls my ntlworld ISP using GSM with an 0845 number.
Anyone know what I need to do? |

Hi amcluesent
I've just managed to do a similar thing with a h2210 and nokia 6230
The basic set up can be found here
One difference in the above that i used was to replace the dialup number with the one from the next link (near bottom of the page)
Additional help with your o2 settings for instance user id etc can be found here _________________ chris

I recently got mine up and running - hx2110 & Nokia 6600 all via bluetooth and GPRS. Is it just me but after downloading a few pages its cost me between £2-£4. I know you get charged by the mb but that renders it unusable. |

Are you sure you gave GPRS enabled??....I went through the process with o2 a few months ago....still couldnt get it to work.....after a while I got bored and gave up.....last week I tried again, and after a while onthe phone too2 they said somethin was wrong, and they would try again....
Finally got my iPAQ sorted to surf/down load e-mail using GPRS on my mobile, but how do I stop it downloading e-mail its allready downloaded??
I was using it at the weekend, and on Sat, downloaded 135 e-mail...then on Sunday it download 165!, including the 135 fom the day before...
I cant find away to stop it doing this, and costing me a packet in un-needed downloads...
any ideas??
