|
|
Received my TT Nav 5 today. Loaded it on my Palm T3 as per instructions, but cannot proceed past the screen "Select Maps" as it states there a "no maps loaded". Hence cannot retrieve the necessary code to unlock the maps via the internet!
Can anyone help me please? |

It seems your card is partially unreadable. Since you have no way of re-installing, I would contact TomTom about it. |

Before that, what you could try:
Copy all content to a folder on your pc.
Format the card.
Copy all content back to the card.
Now try again |

That sounds great. Thanks.
But ... how can I access the files on the card to back them up? I've looked all through the Palm folder on my PC (XP) but can see no reference to TomTom or the card anywhere! The T3 is connected and on.
Anyone help a novice? |

Done it! Thanks for the tip and now works superbly. Dead cool!
It would seem that the SD cards aren't formatted correctly. A card reader for Palm OS can be downloaded at www.softick.com which will enable you to read the card from within the PDA.
I did all this with TomTom customer support on the phone - it seems they learnt something today..!!
Thanks everyone |
