Hi,

I would recommend www.pdamods.com for you pda stuff. I bought an in-car kit for my iPAQ 1710.

Stupidly I left a small but vital part for the speaker in the box.

PDA replied to my email with a fast and curtious response....but more importantly pointed stariaght to the problem.

They then emailed me again to see how I'd got on with it.

Good service, good price - highly recommended.

Most people haven't had that kind of service from them. Should read http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=17548 before buying from them.
Poor, unreliable, inconsistent service. Don't waste your time. Much better retailers out there.

i agree with the first poster,excellent service.ordered a mitac mio 168 with car kit on the wednesday and it arrived on the friday morning.
at the time other retailers were finding mitac mios in short supply so i was well pleased to receive mine so quickly.

obviously i can only speak from personal experience but i will use them again

I can only agree with SH01 - my experience of PDA Mods has been less than satisfactory.

Their express delivery service took 14 days - long enough to cancel (on their advice) and to place a 2nd order.

Both orders then turned up within a day of each other, with the 2nd order arriving first.

I have ordered other items from them, but been sent the wrong items and only recieved a returns number after a barrage of emails.

There are other posts on this forum which make clear that those buyers have had good experiences; all I can say is that there are better retailers who do not make it so difficult to be a satisfied customer.

So to sum up, 2 good posts 2 bad, so this thread gives PDAMods a 50% customer satisfaction rating then. Outstanding.
And thats not even counting me.
