Don't ditch UKpostcode search just yet as there seems to be issues with the fullpostcode search in N5. It doesn't yet work for me
Anyone who can help with the postcode thing would nice |
What is not working?
Choose Navigate to..., Next (2nd screen), Postcode. Don't you get the full 7 digit support then?
If you choose Navigate to..., Address, you will have the old 4/5 digits support |

I do wish TomTom had made their maps croppable like Destinator as I'll have to buy a 1gb card for a European trip comming up as I cant fit the UK, Italy and the bit of France I have to travel through on a 512mb card. I could rely on major roads but the places I am stopping off in France are not included and I don't fancy asking a local for directions 8O |
You will be glad that the upgrade CDs include MRE in the national maps then. You will be able to navigate from the nearest major road, right across Europe to your Italian desitination using just the street level Italy map. At least that is what the map page of the TT site says.

Starting to get a little impatient now (like being a kid and waiting for christmas!). Tis getting a bit frustrating to hear others are having their orders shipped when their order numbers seem to be later than mine (not that I begrudge you getting your copies) and I ordered the morning it was first available. Still stuck in the warehouse - grrrrrrrrrrrr!
Have now written an email to TomTom asking for an update on the delivery....fingers very firmly crossed! :x |

I added a dummy folder named "Tomtom" onto the SD card after advice. |

My order is a good 2,000 before that and is still 'warehouse'. I need it to be shipped last night in order to get here in time for my trip away.
Thanks for nothing TomTom |
