tomtom5 xda2s keyboard problems?
when searching for addresses etc tt5 wont bring/display keyboard i have to use built in/slideout keyboard what a pain i have used tt5 on my dell axim no problems please help///// |

Try the following solution:
Edit the register with a third part program and in register of PDA..
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell
Change..
HasKeyboard value from 1 to 0
or if U haven't that one U have to add
"HasKeyboard" with value "0".
It works!

There is already a thread about this problem. See "Tom Tom 5 and a Keyboard".
I have an MDAIII and also have no on screen keyboard. The suggested registry fix does not work in TT5.
I've logged the issue with TomTom support. No answer as yet. |
