Palm GPS on a motorbike

I know this forum is mostly frequented by car drivers, but I thought this might be of interest:

I've mounted my Palm Tungsten T3 and BT-77 GPS receiver on my CBR600FM using RAM mounting brackets.

I used an Otterbox Armor 3600 to house the Palm, with a "Through the box" cable pass through. That's mounted on a bridge mount and a 1" ball, on a RAM Mount universal motorcycle mount and a RAM-B-201A short arm (oh and the GPS receiver goes in an Otterbox 1601 on my tank).





For any bikers out there I hope this is of some use. It's worth noting that although this doesn't obscure the clocks, and does not get in the way of any controls, it's probably not wise to look at it too much! I'm getting a bike intercomm to plug in for audio warnings. Also if you use a tank bag you'll need a longer connecting arm or you'll have clearance problems.

But if you've already got the Palm and TomTom, you hardly want to pay for that!
