The TTNav5 maps will be much more up-to-date.
Have you got any roads that you’d like checked?

Thanks yeah. One in particular.
Birkenhead, Stubbs Lane.
In TT3 it only showed one road coming off this, a Ruskin Way.
There is however a whole housing estate coming off stubbs lane that returns to Noctorum lane via an un-named road to the Northwest by about 200 yds
If you could see if this has been updated I would be incredibly greatful |

Thanks for the quick reply Alix.
In TT3 it was under Birkenhead.
The trouble is that Birkenhead is made up of a number of villages, Oxton, Prenton, Noctorum, Woodchurch, and Claughton all came under the town of Birkenhead (one of my TT3 gripes). I suppose it would come under either Noctorum or prenton |

wouldnt say it helps but thanks for taking the time to look for me.
begs the question what the hell is the cost of the updat efor if the maps are no newer.
Do we know exactly how old these maps are as this particular estate is about 3 years old and there semms to be a constant 'thread' through the forums on various roads ecluded from maps. Where are Teleatlas getting their mapping data from? Or are they just recycling old maps with a new TT engine? |

no the maps are newer weve been through this many times before it will usually take 2 years for teleatlas to get an update in to a product as they like to visit and fully survey each road. as you can guess this take a lot of time and teleatlas doesnt have many survey teams
i checked copilot and and its the same as is aa navigator both copilot a aa use navteq mapping where as tomtom use teleatlas _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

I stand humbled.
If they are sending out survey teams to each road then I can understand why it takes so long to sort out.
In that case is it possible for me to ad the roads that I know are there simply as POIs to appear in the dead end of the road.
Im a taxi driver and trying to remember the roads when I really need to NEVER happens |

They Do seem to listen to Bad Data reports,
In TT2 they had the street lived in with the wrong name and not as a one way street (Tiny Market Town in Nth Derbyshire), It had been changed 10 years previous so was very well out of date!!
I posted an error report with Teleatlas and in TT3 it was crrect name and one way, so they do seem to take note of user reports,
