|

Hi,
I have prepared a new consolidated French Camping-Car Aires file from the most recent French Aires files available on the web and edited them as per last years file at the top of this thread. There are 2147 Aires in the new file, approx 400 more than before.
I have mailed a copy to the Webmaster for inclusion in the downloads section of this website. This may take a little time before it is available, so should anybody need a copy fairly urgently, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will oblige.
Regards,

The French Camping-Car Aires POI file doesn't seem to have found it's way onto the POI download page, so anybody who would like a copy, feel free to mail me at steve.steveheather@virgin.net not forgetting to supply your own e-mail address.
There may be a delay in responding as I am often away for a couple of months. Alternatively, the file can be downloaded from http://www.motorhomefacts.com (choose 'downloads') but you will need to register if you are not already a member there.

For medion/navigon users there are downloads of updated French aires available at www.aidecampingcar.com/forumO/telecharge.php .
The original , (last years) , version was posted at motorhomefacts but seems to have vanished.
The author of the download is ACC _JV . The instuctions are in French but basically you unzip and , using ActiveSync , copy and paste to program files\MEDION\MEDION-Navigator\POI .
There are other versions for navigon medion\destinator , mapsonic , garmin , and a EUROPEAN tomtom, I don't know if this european version is useful, I don't use tomtom in europe. |
