I have just removed the link from nuttyboy's post after he quickly contacted me via PM to let me know his mistake.
There is usually always a Moderator signed onto the forum so if you ever do make an urgent mistake like that, feel free to contact one of us via PM and we will correct it for your straight away.
Regards,

Lutz, could I ask why???
It makes sense to me, if someone makes a majot typo or says the wrong thing, then they can quickly correct what they posted. Maybe not going as far as deleting their post but just modifying it.
Does anyone know about the upgrade details as metioned on my last post??? |

From my conversation with the support line last week, they indicated it will be available as part of the upgrade.
This was also confirmed in the ordering process that stated you will have all of the W.E maps as part of the upgrade. |

Before you had to pay near 100 quid for the maps of westernt europe. They must be listening in to these forums and taking note
I am surprised that pocketgps world havn't got it up on their homepage yet
As i said above the 5 week wait starts here................. |

There is still no news on the official Tomtom website about the navigator 5 upgrade. Yet all the details of the upgrade, price etc are posted in the forum by Maasnet. He even supplies a link to Tomtom and when one follows the link, Hey Presto, everything is there for all to see. One can order it at once. I don't understand it at all. If you go to your browser and tap in http://www.tomtom.com/ the site says that the upgrade is available shortly. If you tap on the Maasnet link www.tomtom.com all is revealed. I'm thinking of sticking my head in the gas oven. |

trevor1234, goto tomtom.com then make sure UK English is selected, not USA (right hand side drop down menu). |

It's been all over the forums, so we figured there's no need to state the obvious.
Or, to rephrase it - we've been beaten to it by our own users _________________ Lutz

I've been waiting for version 5 for months. Checking the website out regularly and reading all the reviews with interest. Saw the link and thought. Wahey! Grabed the credit card clicked continue a few times. Guess what? Doesn't work on any Toshiba or Fujitsu PDAs. What PDA have I got? Yep. A Toshiba e570 and a Fujitsu Loox 720. WHAT RUBBISH ! Kids can write software which runs on any PDA. Why can't Tomtom??? I've bought versions 2 and 3 and have also bought the European maps. Sadly version 3 will be my last. No more waiting for me. Time to evaluate and purchase software from one of Tomtom's competitors.
Coastie.

Hi lydiachris
Yes, the Tomtom Navigator 5 upgrade it is on the Tomtom homepage now but it wasn't before I posted my first gripe. Anyway, I have now ordered and like many others I now wait with fingers crossed. |
