Ok, so I've used TT2 then TT3 on my Ipaq's, current one is a 4150 which I have hard wired into my company car, works perfectly, love the SC database using GPS Assist.
Going through a mid life crisis so purchased a Smart Roadster in march, and boy do I miss the TT. I need it even more because I find myself just taking roads that look minor (lots of twistys etc).
Company gave me a bonus, so I could purchase a few bits on expenses so pre ordered a TTgo 700 from Maplin for £499.99. Justified to her indoors by the fact that she could use it in the family bus!
Is it possible to get the pocket gps speed camera database onto a 700 and not have to pay TT the extotianate 69 euro's a year? And if so how do you configure it with the correct alerts etc.
Thanks. |

Yes. It will work with any POI file.
In Manage POI you can Enable/Disbale POI and also Warn When Near.
The Warn When Near will guide you through the various options as to distance from camera and the warning sound. It also has the facility to warn only if on a route. _________________ Richard

Just in case your TTGO doesn’t have it, Great Billing Show Ground has the following Longitude and Latitude coordinates:
-0.81491, 52.24616
My Girlfriend and I go to Land Rover shows at Billing. 8)
