Should TomTom be stored on main memory and maps on SD card or does it make any difference? |

Thats where i have them all stored. Its just that on my old PDA eveything of TomTom was stored on main memory with the exception of the maps.
You wouldn't possibly know why when I take my Mio 168 out in the open that i get no sattelite aquisition. (only got it today!!) |

On the gps properties, make sure that on the COM port, may be COM1 or COM2 it reads Serial Cable on SP2, save that setting and then try it, may take 1-2 minutes first time but should work OK. |

Thanks for that, Been in to GPS but can you tell me what I select in the top drop down menu as regards GPS receiver. I am using a Mitac Mio 168.

NMEA 4800 or NMEA 9600 - there are different Mio versions around. _________________ Lutz
