Does any current SatNav software run of Win CE? I'm thinking specifically here of the Fujitsu Siemens Simpad SL4. |

in fact most of it does. There are only very few that use PocketPC specific code or controls (which would prevent them from running on CE). Try it out, you can't break anything. _________________ Lutz

Thanks Lutz.
I had assumed that as Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC will not run on CE that all S/W would be O/S specific. I'll order the Simpad now & see what happens with Tom Tom Navigator 3. I'll report my findings when I can. |

Well, for anyone interested, Tom Tom Navigator 3 does NOT run on Win CE 4.1. |

So what's the trick for installing on Win CE 4.1? The Tom Tom installation fails reporting "Tom Tom GPS does not support the connected device type".
Lutz
I have fake GX.DLL installed in the Windows directory of the Simpad. |
