Darren's post is referring to sellers on EBAY, not TomTom. _________________ Ian.

Maybe we should add a few speed cameras in "interesting" locations and see how many other databases they appear in? |
Maybe we do that already

If you do (and I don't blame you for one minute) it would be easy to check the TomTom database once installed to a device, unless of course the locations have been verified by TomTom surveyors and errroneous cameras have been removed. _________________ Ian.

I wonder if the tomtom database has mobile camera sites?
Can't see how tomtom would be able to claim they have verified each of these unless they have had a massive amount of personnel driving the roads of Britain - which judging from the less than fantastic reviews the latest map data is getting in the Go forum is unlikely as they could have reported the various errors to teleatlas direct!
Have teleatlas started to record camera sites etc? _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

Yeah i bet they have and forgot to include the road with it.. so next time you see one in a field you know its a teleatlas map ... _________________ Ipaq 3970, Ipaq 2210 X2, Smart ST V1, Tomtom V3+V5, CoPilot V5, AA Navigator, Tomtom Bluetooth GPS, Navman 3450i Jacket, Navman Bluetooth GPS, Holux GM270, Fortuna GPS-PocketXtrack
