Anyone know why the sound in Navigator mode is only played on 1 speaker (left)
When i'm running TT and windows media and listening though headphones, in map mode I get full stereo, but when i switch to Navigator I only get sound through the left earphone Confused

I'm running it on a Axim X50v

don't know why but on my x50v the same thing happens - not sure if this was the case with my 2210.

this may explain the crappy quality/volume of the audio.

I've tried my Axim X5 and no probs Rolling Eyes

Hopefully it's not a x50 bug Evil or Very Mad

I've posted up on www.aximsite.com to see if anyone can shed some light
Might have to post to Dell Exclamation

What version Rom you using ? mines A03

rom 03 and hardware 03.

my guess is its tomtom as navigator also changes the sound/volume properties:

try this

Mute the pda sound then turn on tomtom then exit tomtom - the sound on the pda will no longer be muted but will be turned on with the volume slider at the bottom.

My bet is that it isn't fully compatible with either the sound chip or wm2003se.

I'm currently also running the trial of mapopolis and this doesn't do this so its definately a problem with tomtom.

It could well be a compatibility issue with WM2003SE.

I wonder does the same thing happen on other devices running SE?
