Same problem with the USA maps, i'm off to Florida very soon and no maps for my 510. _________________ 2 x ICN-510 units now, 1 USA Unit and 1 UK Unit. Both working great and set up to perfection.

Try looking on ebay, for european purchased units only, if you 'search' under "icn 510" you will find loads all at about thirty pounds for three discs containing all countries.

Bear in mind that those maps will be CD copies, not the genuine article. _________________ Tim |

..the downside is if the data has been corrupted during the cloning process you're knackered! The problem is by the time you find this out it's kinda too late! |

You can get them from Navman, and the downside of getting them from eBay is that you're encouraging piracy and denying Navman, TeleAtlas and possibly others earning revenue with which they would better their product. In short, you are denying them valuable income.

I'm sure if Navman etc didn't charge such extortionate prices for these Euro maps then more people would probably buy from them, it's the same ol' story like pirating of music CDs, the companies were eventually forced to bring prices down which only goes to show they can do it and still make a handsome profit, we have a local garage that sells cheaper fuel than others he may not make such a profit per litre but at the end of the day he is far better off due to his vast number of customers, so as for Euro maps I am sure there are people like myself who are not so wealthy as some and are forced to cheaper outlets and also how come if these maps are "so expensive" companies can supply units complete with Euro maps installed at reasonable prices.
Sorry to be such a misery, I'm not biased either way, and yes I still support the local shops etc. even if they may be a bit more expensive.
I feel better now Tim, now I've had a good moan and I only mentioned eBay earlier because I happened to notice the site whilst browsing, I didn't mean to open a can of worms.
Happy shopping guys, where e're ye may go.
