Hi,
I've been trying to enable VTG sentance generation on a 204E, using $PSRF1003......, but this doesn't work . . . so . . . how can I enable and disable sentance generation . . . possible using nmea ?
Cheers

This may well be an Evermore chipset. What does it report when you open the connection? _________________ Lutz

When I open the com port ?
Seems to run all the time (in that the nmea stream runs all the time), or am I not understanding you ?
It's a mini-din unit with a USB adapter . . . although I'd have though that would make no difference . . .
I've tried this using good old hyperterminal, and GPSDiag . . . both results are the same, no change to the output stream . . .

I meant open the COM port with your own software. If you use the standard software then you miss the exciting part - at the beginning of the transmission it tells you about chipset etc. _________________ Lutz
