|
|
I'm currently running an Ipaq 3970 with a Navman sleeve, and Copilot 5 - I'm having no end of bother with it, crashes, resets, just general trouble.......
Anyway, Ive been thinking of throwing it in the bin and starting again.......
Can annyone recommend a good, reliable system - I'll have to run with Navteq maps, as I'm in Southern Ireland, and they are the best for here, hence why i went with Copilot in the first place.......
Would the Garmin Streetpilot 2610 be a good set up? I know its more expensive, but I'd be happy to pay for reliability.......
All comments appreciated......... |

Hi Aiden
The cab file is the CoPilot Live | Pocket PC 5 patch 5.0.1.48 update from:
http://www.alk.eu.com/support/copilotlive_pocketpc5/updates_patches.asp#patch_48
Right down at the bottom of the page you need to download the update for your Pocket PC OS (2002 or 2003).
Copy the cab file over to your storage card (the my documents folder will be fine as the file deletes itself after the update) using Active Sync Explorer or a card reader. Then find the file using File Explorer on your Pocket PC and click it to install. Check out the posts in the Copilot forum for how to get the Text to Speech working again after the update.
Hope this helps |
