Tomtom Mobile 5 not ready for release yet?

I wonder if if Tomtom Mobile 5 upgrade is ready for release yet. I personally think it isn't. If it was, they could ship thousands of upgrades each day. Come on this is 21st century, it doesn't take 5 weeks to put a memory card into an envelope and take it to the Post Office.

What do you think?

The same procedure as every year... On the german forums there is a similiar fruitless discussion around the MN|5 release. Navigon are saying they are sending 300 copies out a day. Now they also admit they have 35000 pending orders... Do the math...

The upgrade is Ready and people in the 'Benelux' Region have started receiving theres, It's all over the web now with the usual suspects trying to crack the activation. Obviously I know TomTom is based in Holland so they are likely to get theres first, but where does that leave us on the queue, I hope they are shipping thousands a day or we're in for a long wait for our upgrades over here.

Personally i no longer care if someone cracks the activation, which i am sure they will eventually. The way Tom Tom have treated customers over this upgrade is disgrusting, they deserve all they get.

Well that was quick its been cracked already. Laughing Out Loud

. I shouldn't laugh really but after all this mobile upgrade shananigans and GO maps rip off I guess they somewhat deserve it. And all of this on the back of there press release announcing a major increase in profits I guess its a case of what goes around comes around.
