If so, how does it work and what do you think:-
Is it accurate?
Are the road speeds correct?
Whats the audio warnings like?
Does it know the direction of the cameras?
Does it know what type they are, and how are mobile cameras handled?

If you are talking about the one on this site - yes I have (but I import into CoPilot so can only comment on the data) - and very good it is too on the whole. But don't ignore speed limits and rely on it to tell you to slow down - it is by definition, a historic document created by people, so it cannot be 100% accurate 100% of the time.
I would say that it is of most use to those of us who try to keep our speed down, but sometimes need just a little reminding from time to time!
Yes it does sometimes seem to know the direction, but I would prefer it to advise in both directions if the camera can be turned around (I don't know if this is the case)
Mobile cameras are simply known places where Police will hide and jump out on you from time to time with a hand held gun - or park one of those camera vans.
In CoPilot (and I presume TomTom) is does say what type of camera and the speed limit - Redlight (no speed limit), GATSO, Mobile etc. @ (in the majority of cases) whatever the speed limit is I particularly like the Mobile warning, because you are alerted to the fact that it can appear from anywhere. |

I don't think anyone who visits this site will pay 50 quid for the these poi's, ('cept maybe co-pilot users looking for an active forum! ) - especially as they work with ttn5 which we can't buy yet!

I tried to subscribe over the weekend, but received a message saying that this service was only available for TTN V5.
As they will be looking to make money on this add on, hopefully they will not be much longer in shipping TTN V5. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |
