Help! I can't install the database on my TomTom Go 300

I have read the instructions on installing the speed camera database and it still doesn't work! Must be doing something wrong.

I copied the BMP and OV2 files into the great britain map folder (i copied the files from the ZIP folder by extracting them, do i have to unzip them first and then copy them?) and disconnected the Tom Tom from the computer and turned it on and nothing was there.

Whilst i was copying the files to the great britain map the Tom Tom screen had a little SD card symbol on there with an arrow and a cross through it, is that what should be displayed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you told the tomtom to "show" the cameras in the "Manage POI" settings. You sound like you've installed them right but the TTG won't display them unless you tell it to in the manage POI settings
