NAVTEQ based programs/maps have some basic coverage, but it's far from complete. The Republic of Ireland (i guess that's what you meant) still is one of the bigger challenges due to the large road network compared to the small population size. _________________ Lutz

The situation in NI is none too good either! I've just been touring with TomTom GO and the coverage is poor - plenty of place names with no sign of the roads to get to them

Navteq are currently in the process of running a cost efficiency test on both North and South areas of Ireland but to be honest I wouldn't hold your breath.
As for Teleatlas you've got little chance of them doing blanket coverage for these areas.
The lists here are like listing 12 areas in the whole of England and then saying that is the coverage.
My Copilot 5 is extemely comprehensive with small roads in my wife's country town included.
And I just got a new Subaru car with December 2004 mapping with even more detail.
If I have to put a percentage on it I'd say Navteq have 70% of the island of Ireland mapped and from a brief view of Navman V3 I'd say TeleAtlas at best has 40%.
