Oh yeah, and i noticed that most of these units don't have WAAS enabled (because of the new sirf star III chipset)... isn't WAAS supposed to be important? |

Hi Phokus,
I have a GlobalSat BT-338 and I think that it’s an excellent GPS receiver. It generally gets one or two more satellites than my Fortuna Clip-On and more important it keeps a much better lock on the satellites. If you drive in a hot and sunny climate then I’d suggest that you get the silver colour one, so it will reflect the heat a bit more than the black one.
What do you wish to use the BT GPS Receiver for? In most cases, especially vehicle SatNav, WAAS isn’t that important.

Yeah it's primarily going to be for helping me navigate in my car. |
