It may not be a constructive advice. If your PDA has BT why would you go for an SD GPS instead of BT? Where will you put the maps?
Get a BT GPS and you will have a lot less problem. _________________ Pc-Mobile

Be patient.
I have never used an SD GPS so cannot help you.
Most readers have been sleeping since you posted your problem so give it some time.
Anyway you have given very little information in what your problem is so it is difficult for others to give you any advise.
Merely saying that it does not work is no good for problem solving.
For example, how did you install the driver? what software do you use?
what happen when you started the software? etc. etc. _________________ Pc-Mobile

sorry i am normally ok at this sort of thing. Ok the problem is I have a XDA mini by O2 it runs pocket pc version 1.3.00 WWE and i am trying to get the SD-501 working on it. I installed the software on a laptop and a desktop loaded the files as said, via windows xp pro, all the software installed just as i was ment to, but when i opened the GPSinfo the ports that where in the list
com1: serial
com2: serial?_Cmd
com3: IrCOMM
com4: BTIBserial
com5: BTOBserial
com9: Serial_Data
None of those ports would pick the SD-501 up. But when I put the device in(sd-501) the led went red and after a min or two it started to flash, does that mean it has a lock? but the XDAmini didn't pick it up?
So is there more drivers i need? Also I tried to use a different program GPS Tuner and that could not pick up the gps device.
Hope all this helps and it is still flashing in the XDA mini after some time.
And thankyou for you time everyone |
