Hi Johan,
Long time no see. Welcome back. 8)
If your H2210 is still in warranty then contact HP and they should send you a replacement set.
I’ve seen H2210 with replacement metal grips, which look rather good. However I don’t know where you get them. Try some of the sponsors of this website.

PocketPCTechs manufacture superb aluminium replacement grips, you can get them from Expansys, also if you are out of warranty iPAQRepair sell the original HP Rubber Grips. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The replacement grips are made by Pocket PC Techs, who are an American firm - they're listed on their site here.

The price is much cheaper that the metal one! only cost USD$19.9.
And the outlook is better than the metal one@@(personal opinion)
I have order the green one, Excellent! Just what I was looking for. The metal ones just don\'t look right. The quality of these grips looks like they will out last my 2215. I can recommend them to all 2215 users.

Thanks guys for info & choice, I'm on my second pr of grips - 1st pr where replaced under warranty, but a recent trip using a Hp rugged case strapped to the handle bars of my mountain bike, has just seen the dis-bonding of one of the grips.
I was hopeing the new grips would take the punishment but alas not. Have just ordered the fibre glass versions (not green!), this looks like curing the problem once and for all.
Cost $24.9 approx £13

I've just called HP this morning about my grips disbonding (again) and the support guy said that they automatically replace them when asked regardless of warranty
