|
|
I have an Axim x50v running Mapopolis 4.50.47. I have the Pharos iGPS-BT and I am able to establish a bluetooth connection between the Axim and the iGPS unit.
However, I cannot get Mapopolis to connect to the GPS.
I first establish the BT connection between the Axim and the iGPS. Then I open Mapopolis and go to the GPS screen and hit the Start button. From there the app will continue to try to check each COM port to no avail.
I heard that the Axim uses COM7 for BT connections and I tried to select just COM7 as the port to use but that does not work either.
Any suggestions on what I should do or what I am doing wrong? |

Do you see the receiver with any other program (for example Crux_view)?
You don't have TomTom installed, do you? _________________ Lutz

No, I only have Mapopolis installed and do not use the receiver with any other programs. Thanks for any help you can provide. |

Not sure how I would do that. What do I need to do to do that? I have an Axim x50v running WM 2003 SE and my receiver is a Pharos iGPS 360 BT. Thanks for your help. |
