dunno it this has been spoke about before, i did a search but couldn't find anything.
there is a splash.bmp file in the root directory on the TTG SD Card, a picture of a green hand touching a color TTG that shows when you start up your TTG, well this can be changed for your own picture, maybe of your family, car info of your car(incase your TTG is stolen) or whatever.
i've seen other sites that have ready made pics for you to use but it can be any aslong as it a 240x320 24bit .bmp file and you name it splash.bmp
when you look at your picture it's on it's side ie 240 wide 320 high but the TTG will rotate it, have a look at the splash.bmp file you already have on your card and you'll understand, or take a look at the file i've used

This is the only thing that has eluded me. I cant even find the original splash screen. Could you possibly post simple step by step instructions on how to do this.
Many Thanks |

Instructions are as simple as he said above.
Make a picture 320 x 240 pixels. Save it as .bmp (24 bit). Turn it sideways. Call it splash.bmp and drag it to the GO. |

when you plug your GO into the usb and access the SD Card or plug the SD Card in a card reader the splash.bmp will should be in the root directory ie the first part you come to and not in any of the folders.
i'm not sure if the splash.bmp is on the TTG before the v5.00 update as i never had one then can anyone comfirm if it is or not as this might be why Skywalker can't find it. _________________ Who is General Failure and why is he reading my Hard Drive????

just to add my bit again, i never found the "splash.bmp" in the TTG either, I just dragged the new picture in, switched it off and back on, and there it was, and it turned it the right way round for me.

Yes there wasa splash screen, but it wasn't called splash.bmp.
It was mentioned here. _________________ Richard
