|

I am at home, trying to set my home co-ordinates as Home in the Favourites. The device tells me to tap and hold down when in the map view.
When I change to map view, instead of seeing the map of my home area as I expected, I have a view of Teviothead which seems to be in Scotland somewhere. I am sure it is a nice place but not my home! If I tap and hold down, it tries to put Teviot head in as my 'home'.
How do I get the map to be of my local area so I can set home?

It's the default map point for TTN. If you go outside, at home, and get a sat lock you should be able to Change Home and set it to the GPS reading.
I'm not sure of the menus as I use a TTG. _________________ Richard

Have you searched for your home address before you tried to set it?
You need to go to the map view and then using the second icon along the bottom of the page " The magnifying glass over a piece of paper". Then choose the address icon to search for you address, When it changes back to the map you have the option of adding to favorites, from there the first entry you put in wil be your "Home". |

Many thanks, now done it. I must say I don't find TT3 very user friendly.
