im thinking of buying a bigger card (512mb) so i have more room for other stuff and destinator on the same card to avoid having to keep inserting different cards for different stuff, can this be done? and how do i go about putting destinator on there |

According to my tests the older versions of Destinator (up to 3.0.75) cannot completely be put onto memory card. This seems to have changed with the newer versions - PN and LT etc. But I'm not sure when those will be out.
However, you can certainly have the Destinator maps and your other stuff on the memory card to avoid card swapping. 512 MB may not be big enough though... "There is no such thing as free space on a storage card"... 8O _________________ Lutz

You probably have read about problems with SanDisk China cards. If you chose a good brand then there's no issue. _________________ Lutz

one more wuestions for you

It can be done without a card reader using MS ActiveSync but each map will take in the region of 40-50mins to copy across.
If you can get access to a card reader the maps only take about a minute to copy.

and cyclops ..
open file explorer
click on My Device at the top
then click on DestinatorApps
then click and hold on Destinator and select copy
then click on My Device at the top again
then click on SD-MMC Card
then find a bit of space near the bottom of the screen, click on it and hold it... select paste.
This will copy all stuff onto ur sd card, what use that is i'm not sure; i'm hoping i will be able to KEEP my favourites if i have to hard reset.
The other day while running D3 and several trial today progs (i'm new) it decided to hang with the screen on... and i couldn't soft reset. So i let the battery run out hoping i would be ok... i wasn't, i lost all my lovely favourites... bugga
Hoep this will sort it... as the auto back up did naff all :/
