help needed for mio 168 speed camera up date

can anybody help me up date my mio safety camera ive tryed following the instruction on how to update ive got to section 4 on update click/tools/inport costom places but when ive clicked browse and changed file types to all files and point it towere i have unzip the file pocketgps-uk-sc.xls i got a screen which asks for name of inport file i click on the folder pocketgps_uk_sc
when i click on this i goto the folder whitch holds the files xls when i open this the following files are here
pocketgps_continental.xls
pocketgps_uk_gatso.xls
pocketgps_uk_mobile.xls
pocketgps_uk_redlight.xls
pocketgps_uk_specs.xls
pocketgps_uk_temp.xls
when i click on one of these it puts it in the file name but if i click next there is just a blue curser there
were am i going wrong do i need to open all these file in microsoft works spred sheet first
