I am very new to all this, i have noticed that you can get the US version alot cheaper but only with US maps of course. Would you be able to upload a copied version of the uk maps and so on or would i have to buy the original software with product key??? |

Hi jd69
Apart from it being illegal (a copied version), you will have to spend £149 for full European of £75 for the UK only.
It still works out cheaper than buying a UK version, as long as you do not mind having no warranty.
You can pick up a US version for around $400 plus shipping which works out to around £210. It dose not come with an SD card, so another £25 to £35, plus £145 for full Pan European maps and not forgetting the remote £25. A grand total of £415. That’s £74 cheaper than the UK price for the Pan European virsion, with North American maps thrown in. Don’t forget customs and excise duty on top.
so it's up to you.
Regards.

I think you'll have to buy the map software. Better yet you should by a nav system that uses inexpensive pc map software. Navman is really proud of their feature poor products. |

BTW, if you're hell bent on buying a navman icn510 I've seen them for as little as $299 with us maps. Make sure you get an extended warranty though.. I've gone through 2 in 21 days. |

Retailer Fry's electronics here ran both the 510 and PIN for $299 around the first of April.. Their website store is "Outpost.com" I think they will be running them again soon. I was told each store just recieved around 100 unit each.. Normally the stores don't carry but a 6-12 units. |
