Hello,
I've been trying to find a program to do some wardriving and finally found a proggy to sniff wifi networks, but the friggin GPS doesnt show any coordinates for some reason. I'm guessing it's incompatible? Are there any other programs that support the navman 3450 or a way to fix it?
Specs:
H5550/5
Navman 3450 (sleeve)
Wififofum
TomTOm
Navman V2
Thanks!! |

Wififofum expects you to specify the COM port and speed. I think your jacket runs at 57600 baud. Not sure about the port -is it COM4 ? _________________ Lutz

Com port is set to 4 and speed 57600. I'm able to open it but nothing happens. Oddly, running the other GPS status utility from TomTom to get a GPS fix prevents me from opening the com port in Wififofum, giving the error '55'. I'm assuming this happens because both programs cant have the same com port open? But as I originally said, nothing happens...it opens, nothing in the GPS log and status in Wififofum shows the GPS "off". Unless it takes 3+ minutes for the GPS to find a fix with the program?? |

ahh, wait. Possibly WiFifofum waits for a NMEA sequence that the jacket is not delivering. Not sure which one is needed, I'd assume GGA, or maybe RMC - try enabling more sequences. _________________ Lutz
