Are you using the OS version or the European Version?
Did you use the Web->Check for updates option?
Mine found 4.4.2 and upgraded accordingly. _________________ Mike Barrett |

I have both, my mistake, I was running the OS version at the time as all of my UK maps are OS but the European ones use the European vesion as that won't load the uk OS ones from 2004. _________________ Graham.

Using the new version on a Toshiba E800, a rather remarkable increase in visual detail can be observed.
The Greater London map is outstanding as is the MM 25000-1 of the lake District.
Good old memory map "Say's I to myself Say's I"
Now if only TomTom would follow suit and someone would produce a PDA with a 19" screen, life would be complete for me. :P

Try Microsoft Flight Simulator on three 21" monitors it's awesome, front, left and right views all at the same time. _________________ Graham.

Edit to add - Once I opened my eyes I and looked properly I managed to find 5,1,3 which will do exactly what I want, it is 5,2,7 that I refuse to use due to reasons posted elsewhere - Mike |

Why 4.4.3?
Because I am still happily using MM 2004 and have the maps for it ...
Just noticed I was running 4.2.4 and thought I'd update it.
Do I just run the .EXE file as it stands to update? I assume that will work and retain the licence. |

Yes, just running the EXE should do the job.
(But, to be safe, I would first of all be sure I had a note of my licence key number and also my original discs to go back to if necessary).
