Just thought I'd link through to this (my post) within the hardware section, as it's a cheap receiver. (< £50 inc vat + p&p! )

beware though - we've seen reports that the factory settings include a different map datum (other than WGS84), resulting in a north offset of about 100 meters in some cases. At the moment we cannot recommend this receiver for beginners.

Is there a way to correct that?

If it's relatively easy, I can write an application quiet merrily to automate it ;)

I've found further specs:

Ceiling: 18000m
Max Speed: 515m/sec

Geography Coordinates: WGS-84 (This IS standard)
Input voltage: 3.3V (+/- 5%)
Size: 25.9mm x 25.9mm x 2.7mm
Data Type: NMEA-0183 V3.0 and Nemerix binary system
Outputs: GGA, GLL, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG
Baud rate: 4800/9600~38400bps
Operating Temp: -40°C ~ 80°C
Antenna: Built-in
