I would say the total lack of instructions provided with the remote is poor.
Operation is fine throughout the car, but you do need to be pointing at it fairly directly. |

Specifically interested in the (combined) size of California + Arizona + Nevada. |

Looking further at this subject, it appears to me that it is related to the SD card in use. It is a 512 40x Viking Media card.
When i remove this and use my uk only original card, i see no problems ... |

I have an external aerial for a 510, and strong signal (typical lock-on in 10-20 seconds), and commonly 5/6 satellite strength.
