I was using a colleague's TomTom One with the v7.20 UK and ROI map (I'm still using the old v6.75 map on mine), and noticed that his unit seemed to be treating the UK and ROI as two separate maps.

Yes the roads are as google/teleatlas show, apart from the tamarisk way, thats is NOT shown at all. The roundabout with the a413 and all other estate roads are shown on the latest mapping.

If you post details of the estate in question, i can check as i have the latest (v7.20) maps. Post code, or grid ref etc.

The name of home is in the MapSettings.cfg file
You can change it using TomTomFavouriteEditor
(its in german but easy to use)

Yes, I've charged it fully, and when running it off the battery, it lasts between one and two hours, probably closer to two hours - which is about right, from what I've read.

Thanks for the tips. I think the key may be not to click it into place fully. As has already been said, it's not exactly going to come off, and it should make it a lot easier to slide it off again.
