I have an old Mio 168 Gooseneck & was thinking of just cutting off the TT standard mount then glue it to the mio flex mount with a bit of Aradite or the likes.

I've had exactly the same "feature" *sigh* on my 930. Unfortunately chkdsk couldn't fix it in my case, so a reformat through windows and a reload of a backup ...
