Try going to the Advanced tab on the properties screen - scrol down about 25% to the map view section and make sure that the Route drop down is set to Dashed in foreground.

Be careful with this - the tomtom BT unit requires a 5v power supply so cutting off the rj11 and hardwiring to the vehicle wiring loom will fry it ( the BT unit not the car).

Tomtom say they have stopped making the hardwire cable and don't have any in stock.

Same as the BT cradle - if the Navigator 3 and BT receiver wasn't so new to the market I would think they bringin ...
