You can get a cheap OBDII bluetooth 'plug' on ebay and a free app for your smartphone to do the exact same thing. |

Is there a facility for video out while in use?
This would allow the rear camera to double up as a reversing camera, with just the monitor powered up from the rev lights.

One criticism was of poor GPS reception due to the internal antenna.
This could easily be resolved using an external aerial - according to the HTC website there is a socket for this.

I can connect the 236 to my PC using bluetooth, but the GPSviewer software won't work.
This seems to be because the device is allocated to COM11 by the PC, and the software only goes up to COM 10.
